Creating a Macro
Open the Options menu
From your Paperdoll click on the options button
From your Paperdoll click on the options button
Options Window
From the options window select the Macro Options menu. The icon is a half moon with an arrow on top.
Click on the Add button
Select the Key Text field and push the key on your keyboard you want for the macro.
The key you pressed should now appear in the Key text field.
You can use the Check boxes for Shift, Alt, and Control
If you choose the letter A for your macro and check the checkbox for Ctrl, you will have to hold down the CTRL Key and Push A to trigger the macro.
Next under the actions select the macro you want to use from the drop down menu. Some macros require an additional information. For "Say" you will need to enter text that you will say in game in the adjacent text field. Others like "CastSpell" require you to use the drop down menu adjacent to the "action"

The traditional function of emote text is to convey actions, attitudes or emotions rather than simple speech. Whisper As Say, but whispered text (e.g., "Psst, wanna buy a chicken?") can only be "heard" by characters immediately adjacent to you. Yell As Say, but yelled text (e.g., "HELP!") can be "heard" by any character up to a screen and a half away. Walk Opens a menu of compass directions from which you choose one. Using this menu causes your character to face and take a step in the selected direction. field 2: NW (top) N (topright) NE (right) ........... War/Peace oggles you between War mode and Peace mode. Paste Pastes text from your Windows clipboard into a book or speech. Text length is limited. Speech can be only a few words, while books can receive a few sentences. Open Opens one of your informational windows. Selecting this option will present you with a list of windows from which to select. (Note that your Character Window is listed as "Paperdoll" and your Options screen as "Configuration.") field 2: (list of gumps to open) Close Closes the window you specify. field 2: (list of gumps to close same as open) *** I think these two have changed from the support tutorial Minimize Minimizes all open windows. Maximize Fully opens all minimized windows on screen. OpenDoor Opens any door within reach. macro to open a door (house dungeon etc) UseSkill Presents you with a list of all applicable skills, from which to select the specific skill you want to try to Use when you trigger this Macro. This command can only be used to initiate those skills which are normally begun from the skill list in your Character Window. It does not apply to skills which are initiated by using a specific item or taking a certain action. : list of skills LastSkill Attempts to again Use the last skill you Used. uses last skill used CastSpell Presents you with a list of all the spells in the game, from which you must select the specific spell you want to cast. It's up to you to ensure that the spell you select is, in fact, one that you actually know how to cast. : list of spells LastSpell Attempts to recast the last spell you cast. cast last spell cast LastObject to again Use the last item you Used. uses last object. Doors, containers, corpses Bow character will bow from the waist. Salute character will perform a military salute. QuitGame Disconnects you and closes the game. AllNames Displays the names of every creature and character currently on screen.
